That looks correct for a late 1952 to early 1953 era Raleigh. The basket is an addition, but the rest looks pretty much correct for that period. Because it is a ladies' bike, it is more valuable as a parts source than as a collector's item. The tear in the back of the saddle is an issue for it. The fork appears to have been bent back a bit, but should be fixable with the fork jig and the frame arm tool. But it is a nice example in pretty good shape that has not been fooled with much. Good find! The rack, lighting system, odometer, and full chain case can be hard-to-find in complete and working shape. The frame pump is missing.

SirMike -

thank you! 😉

who would be maker of lamps?

I believe the headlamps are Lucas, at least the ones I have are ("King of the Road" models, at least one from early 40s); but neither look like the one on that bike.

Dynohubs in good functional condition fetch a pretty good price depending on the market location.
That bike would still get about $200 in my area if everything works, maybe $300 max. on a good day. Definitely worth plenty for the parts.

Edit: I don't think it quite belongs in the "Vintage Lightweights" forum; my 1970 Sports runs about 50 pounds without dynohub, rack, lights, and full chaincase.
