On Training Wheels
Trying to find some info in this bike I got. I am having no luck. I am thinking its from the 50s? I haven't seen one with he foot pad in the center...where these factory?

Might have a very-lightly stamped date-place code on the bottom bracket crank hanger.

Thinking maybe something like “75SN” for 1957–D?

The style is a middleweight, as ascertained by the yoke joint at the seat post clamp cluster, (or seat stay bridge).

I am thinking a very-nice repaint (gray primer), and the front forks look peculiar (27”?).

They did use the D prefix in '62, but there should be an 'SE' in a circle near the serial. I agree w/Archie, it does look late '50s, which used the reverse year stamp through '58. Pic of a '47.
