Vintage Super Deluxe

Looks to be a vintage black & white photo with a mixture of a very late 1965 and early ‘66 Super Deluxe Stingray components.

Long frame and long crank.
Axle mount high loop seat strut.
Silver glow tufted saddle.
Short tail rear fender.
Small cap bow pedals.
Two speed rear hub.
Black letters on white grips.
Dill 627 valve stem caps.

There is another pic I believe the pea picker that you can clearly see it’s not an OEM seat as it has the metal reflector hanger between the bolts

Yup, you always need the full right side of a Minty Schwinn bicycle.

Billy was a funny dude for sure. I miss our Stingray conversations.
It’s been over 11 years now since we lost Minty Boxy.

Yes I remember him calling REALLY quiet because he had customers in the store….and he would tell me the filthiest dirty joke and hang up. Sadly the store is gone to time….a paint store for those that didn’t know, he always a bike or 5 on display up on a shelf he specially built.

They were also on 65' Varsity Tourists, Travelers, and (I think) Deluxe Collegiates.
