picked up the "DEATH FORK BIKE".

Crusty hulks I dug up in Iowa. '59 Phantom, '50 B6, 53 Hornet and '69 3 Speed Stingray. Will drag them all to MLC if I decide to go.

Bought all of this for $90 at an auction yesterday.

"DEATH FORK BIKE".

Excuse my ignorance but what does this mean?

It’s not real old but I’ve been hunting for a second one of these for a while. The bike is a Trek lime this bike shift’s electricly and was only made a few years . People who sell these bikes usually keep the seat with a carparment inside . This bike I went to pick it up I opened the seat carparment the person selling the bike never knew it opened up . I also bought more Matchbox cars on the cheep. Happy Easter !

Got a May '59 Tornado locally, and a Shelby reflector for the '37 DBR.

Excuse my ignorance but what does this mean?

I believe these had an aluminum fork which broke at the head tube, there was a recall and the original fork was replaced with a steel fork.
