Finally riding a big boys bike
I just pulled a few bikes out of the storage shed. This is the only Peugeot I have ever owned. Bottom of crank looks like a stamp of 65939. I am taking this along to a swap meet in 2 weeks and wonder what would be a fair price to try to sell it for. Brakes and shifter work, needs some tires. Any idea what model and even year it might be. Thanks.

Yes PX-10, sold at Sugden and Lynch, where I once worked in the 70's. Looks like the brakes were changed to Italian side pulls. Otherwise looks pretty original.

Thanks, that is what I thought it was. Any idea of what I should ask at the swap for it, maybe$100, maybe more?

PX-10s fetch a nice amount, though I'm sure the market has been softening. $100 would make a nice deal for a buyer assuming they want to deal with sew up tires and that frame size. Seems fair.

Thanks everyone. Yep, Sticker says Sudden & Lynch Bicycles, Menlo Park, CA. Found its way to me in San Jose, CA about 35 or so miles away. If anyone is local to me and can do a pick-up PM me and maybe we can work out a fair price on it. I have plenty of other bikes I can take to the swap meet.

This appears to be in the 1967-1970 time frame. 60’s PX10’s are definitely in higher demand. I would think that $300 would be a fair price. These bikes were raced in the Tour pretty much as you see it, back in the day. A quality bike, congrats, glwts
