Like @oldmtrcyc implied once you have narrowed it down either find a forum or a specialist for that year/marque and have then help you with what is right and what is wrong. Like bicycles some of those small parts can cost big money and be extremely tough to find. Making sure engine cases match, correct frames, forks, etc... all can make huge differences in price. BTW I love the Zundapps. Good luck with the search.
One of the top pre-war German motorcycle restoration guys in the US lives in my city. He's been searching for a Zundapp for me. He is a total stickler for these and nothing drives him nuttier than the incorrect, post war or non-german parts on these old bikes.
 
I love the looks of the Zundapp, Harleys and Indians are common at bike shows, I have always owned Indians. My 1950 Indian Papoose's.
