The advent of social media has been a scourge in today's society! But , it is a double edged sword, and there are some positive attributes to its existence. One of them is keeping some of our past from getting lost.

I found this old ad on Facebook from the bike shop I worked at back in the day. It was posted by someone going through their late parents belongings.

I don't know for sure, as there is no date on it in the pics I posted. But I would guess from the 70's some time? We may be able to date the ad if someone has some knowledge about the Peugeot bikes in the pic?

Carl from Beach Cities Cycle ended up running that location... I helped him liquidate quite a bit
before he retired and moved to Australia... South Bay Cycling History now lost
