Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
pitched this over to the Ebay marketplace for the wider world eye view...

Restored 51' Schwinn Hornet in the uncommon Black and Red combo...
I would call this one a 100% original parts resto...aside from maybe inner tubes..
but no repro parts here. I restored this bike some 20 years ago...everything was
restored, automotive single stage paint, chrome, cadmium etc. Bike shows some
age some patina to the chrome here and there, nothing major... a few small touchups
on minor paint chips and scratches. Tiny pinpoint 'ping' ding on the front fender..
Pedals look to be NOS Torrington unstamped 8 block ones. Locking Spring fork
with original Arnold, Schwinn & Co key, Mesinger restored saddle in the Coroseal vinyl.
Original Made in USA Typhoon tires. Neat looking bike that really shows well.

Actual shipping 2 boxes with minimal dissassembly.

Thanks Pete... that's about what a paint job 20 years ago on this would run..
