Bicycle parts/business opportunity
We have decided to sell our substantial inventory of bicycle small parts, components, tires, tools and accessories, including a small percentage of BMX inventory. This block of goods consists of classic, vintage and contemporary bicycle equipment covering mainly post-WWII to early 2000’s. Consists of 75%+ NOS, much in original packaging.
Brand names include Campagnolo, Schwinn, Simplex, Stronglight, Shimano, Bendix, New Departure, Park Tool, Sturmey Archer, Weinmann, Whizzer and a host of other common bicycle brand names.
This is substantially more than a hobbyist size inventory. It is more in the range of a what an old school small/medium bicycle store would stock. Physical volume would be somewhere in range of a 40 foot shipping container or small warehouse.
Based upon the mix and volume, this inventory would form the basis of a collectable and vintage bicycle store or online business. It could also augment the inventory of a going concern, filling in gaps of parts needed by collectors, restorers and other bicycle retailers.
Looking to sell as a single unit and not break into individual categories or items at this time.
