The good part about where I live is it's rural, which is also the not so good when it comes to riding bikes.

People tend to drive very fast on the farm roads, so you have to be hyper vigilant when riding.

The theme for Bike Night last night was "80's" I thought of doing an analog age progression of me in my 80's too late so rode my 85 year old Shelby made Western Flyer while wearing a Van Halen t-shirt & Vans. Storms again in the afternoon that finished just before the ride kept attendance to 113. Rain stopped & clouds cleared for a nice, cool evening for a ride!🤓

What a great way to take a break in the middle of the week!

I rode a ‘20’s Mead Ranger motobike today

Rather than find a new one right away I reconstructed the one on it. This is side that was missing and it held together fine today and was comfortable.

I took this 58 Phantom out today. I have had the bike for awhile and just got it going. It had stripped threads on the right crank and i adjusted the rear hub. I also added one of Bob's nicely redone saddles. Now it is a pretty nice rider with fantastic colors!

Made time for a short ride late in the day on the 1936 Snyder Wards Hawthorne: This bike has a 44/22 equivalent ring/cog with a low gear as it's steep around here. I finally re-installed the odd,(one yr. I think) seat-post-to-frame, 3-piece securing clamp for a 5/8th's post after adding some washers to compensate for wear.

The upper threads had ovalized a bit from too much threaded area supporting the long post. Took some time to fix it...
