@prewarjunkie congrats for your bike dream found*!* now a good ox bath, cleaning and re grease; new tires and tubes: discard that basket, and grips, whit the ones for that nice bike; and ride and enjoy it; like kid in Xmas*!*

I’m usually a big fan of OA baths but it can sometimes change the color of reds. That paint is in such nice shape I’d go after it with rubbing compound, polishing, compound, and wax. Be very gentle and careful on the decals! It will clean up beautifully. I wish my 39 Motorbike was half as nice as that one.

Hola to the cabers" @mrg that was just little suggestions in the chat, don't have to be an strictly rule to apply always!!! Also as @Two Wheeler ,suggested,the light cleaning, and good hand of carnauba wax,to protect the paint,is a nice idea!
