Cool map but just curious what the criteria was for "Classic". It looks to me like you have tried to include every US manufacturer.
 
1990’s was the cutoff.
I know that doesn’t seem like the classic criteria, but I got news for you.
Time is slipping by fast.
It won’t be too much longer, and a bike built in the 90’s will be considered a classic.
I mean, after all.
Back then they were mostly all human powered, and made out of steel. Lol!
 
You could decide whether you wanted to include Gresham Cycles in Reno, NV. Ed Gresham worked for Albert Eisentraut and Roland Della Santa. Being a machinist by trade, his frames were pretty exquisite.

I believe 1990's mountain bikes are considered vintage which includes some of the early 2000's (26" wheels). Makes me feel even older.
