This one was also originally found in a Chicken Coop.
(Technically, it was described as the loft of a Chicken Barn, being lowered down through the hayloft doors in the bucket of a skip loader.)
So kind of a barn used to house chickens.
But, too cool of a story not to share here.
It’s a late 1898 model 22 that was already being kitted with the new model 33 components for 1899.
It’s changed hands a few times since being lowered down from the loft of the Chicken Barn.
It’s value has gone up exponentially with each change of ownership.
Ahh!
The simpler times, residing with the Chickens, when no one knew what it was.
What is it with neat old bikes and Chicken Coop’s?
I guess they’ve got to have some place to roost.
