Just found old photo of my brother's 1948 24" DX with "updates"! This was taken in 1953 after the new had worn off. This is about as close to a muscle bike as a poor boy could come up with in those days

I think that they did hit with any cornering but a 12 year old can put up with what he can't cure just to be different!
