I actually dreamt about bikes last night. Kinda weird too. There was a knock at the door. I opened it & there was Ed(@catfish)! He had a notebook in his hand with a list of parts I picked up from him but didn't pay for... and he didn't look happy. As I'm trying to remember when I bought these parts, I'm frantically searching all over the garage. Sure enough, one by one I find them hanging up or stashed away. No idea if I found everything since my alarm woke me up. Guess it was more of a nightmare than a dream. Sorry Ed! I'll pay up as soon as I can!

I'm on the same page as you Joe. I thought I bought 5 or 6 bikes last year, turns out I bought 17. ...I teach grade seven. 85 kids shouting all day, some who never do any work, some who can't read, or can't speak English, or who can't speak English AND can't read in their first language never mind English. And the autistic kid who is very nice but eats my glue.
And then there's my bicycle hobby ...ahhhh. It's my therapy, my grounding, my enthusiam, my reason to survive one more school day, my reason to live (after my wife & kids of course, cough cough). The insanity of this hobby gives me my sanity, which everyone here can understand (one of many nice things about the CABE).
Say Joe, aren't we neighbours? - the Toronto half of you at least. I'm around the corner, just north of the park. Cycle on over sometime and we'll drink some 3-speed lager, or maybe Boneshaker IPA while we stand in my garage and talk bike.

Bike related dreams....I've had a few.

Probably the one that really pissed me off when I awoke was...
Scott (our illustrious founder) sent me one of my research material picture books and when I opened it up, it was filled with child like crayon scribbling of bikes on each page.
Worried when I did awake
....Wheew, what a relief, all my books were good.

Yep that's me Checking The Cabe all day long when I can then to eBay and back to the Cabe back-and-forth I go hoping I'm going to get the deal before the next guy I've gotten a lot of deals and I've lost a lot of deals but that's all I think about what's new on the Cabe and what's new on eBay
