Finally riding a big boys bike
So it's a nice day, to nice to sit around, you decide to take a ride. You have a nice collection but one bike always gets picked, which one is your favorite rider?
I always seem to grab my 61 Schwinn heavy duty wasp, I always feel good when I'm riding this bike, I love all my bikes but I ride this one the most. Which one do you always pick?

I love more than one.
It depends on many factors which one gets to go.
Wind and hills; How far are we going; who's gonna be there; Theme Bike Ride;....?
More than 50 miles I go with my Elgin Tiki Cruiser:

Often picked for windy days, steep hills, and large gatherings of amazing classic bicycle rides I ride my 1936 Electric:

For strength training, delivering goods and other Heavy Duty services I ride the 1940 Western Flyer Heavy Duty:

I have others that I love to ride too.
It's quite perplexing to me.

Like tripple3, I have a few bikes, depending on the ride.

My most used is my 48 schwinn klunker. From bars, to the beach, to trails, this bike is one of the most fun. I can jump curb cuts, ride dirt trails, or cruise the beach. It's also the only one with a seat bag so I don't have to carry stuff in my pockets.

For just slow, laid-back cruising, nothing beats my custom Hawthorne 6 bar. With the long wheelbase, big handlebars and the well worn brooks, it's like riding a couch. Easy to pedal, and freaks out anyone who knows old bikes, and every time I ride it I have to explain how I made it.

The last one doesn't get ridden as much, and I keep thinking about selling it, but every time I ride it I change my mind. Custom Husky Industrial bike, worksman wheels, flat cleared over sandblasted parts (every single part, bolts and all,) it's the Stealth Bomber.

Weighs about 500lbs (give or take,) with a big gear, but hauls ass. Not much fun uphill or in the wind, but it's pretty awesome.

My go to old bike is my fender less Iver Motobike. I built it up just to cruise at night. I used a woman’s sprocket to lower the gearing. Building a custom wheelset and lights now and may add some Blackout parts.

I don't have a big stable of classics like a lot of you guys. I am in the process of re gearing my DX to be more rider friendly with a girly sized skip-tooth chain-ring up front, and a 11 tooth skip-tooth in the rear. I also took the springer off my 49 B6 in an effort to lose weight and be more rider friendly. still not friendly enough:(. for the oldies I'll ride the DX the most.

this summer I plan on riding my mountain bike more. I'm sure I will be putting more miles on that than all others. I am in the process of putting taller "old man" handlebars on it with a 4" rise and a new set of slicks. I won't be doing much off road riding any more until I get more fit.
