The BMA/6 sticker definitely says post-1972, and yes it appears to be Murray built. Those handlebars are definitely owner-added. Got the Skyrider finished, it cleaned up very quickly and nicely. Was very pleasantly surprised on the condition of the wheels, chrome is still perfect. Sold Schwinn Aluminum bike- frame =23"----new price-$65.00
I've had one. Very nice riding bike, a little on the stiff side (of course, it's aluminum) but very nice handling. Only real oddity to the bike is that the seat post uses a stem style wedge to clamp it down, so it is a bit of a pain adjusting the saddle until you get the length right.- sykerocker

You’ve probably shown why the Magneet brand disappeared after 1969. Batavus was making the exact same bike under their brand, and owned Magneet. Mine originally came with Campagnolo Valentino, Weismann centerpulls, and the same crank.- sykerocker

Looks like that bike was either built by Huffy or Rollfast, definitely a catalog cheapie, probably late Bike Boom (or early Bike Bust) as it's got the BMA/6 sticker on the seat tube, so it's got to be a '74 or so. The bike doesn't have that BMA/6 (ok, I'm going from memory, although I know I'm close) that all Bike Boom era American bikes, except Schwinn who refused to be seen with the competition, had.
