I know this is probably a big ask, but my buddy would like to find a pair of period 20" single tube tires for his little bike.
They don't need to be usable, just pliable enough to get them onto the rims for display purposes.
Please let me know what you might have.
Thanks.
Looking for one end cap to match the one pictured - (minus the scratches in the finish by the previous owner).
I'll also buy a whole grip if it's a good match. Please let me know what you might have.
Thanks.
I'm trying to help a friend identify, and if possible, find the correct badge for this little old bike.
It has 17 1/2" wheels, the chain links are marked "snow" and the saddle's imprinted with a "J".
Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.
Leather is soft and supple with splitting and imperfections as shown.
Original seat post clamp is included in the sale.
$35 shipped or best offer, discounted for local sale.
Measures 12" by 8" with stamping I can't quite make out on each side.
In nice solid shape except for some red over spray on the underside
from a careless previous owner.
The lucky 7 seat post it came with is included in the sale.
Asking $195 shipped.
I bought this on here a while back but the intended project never materialized.
Measures about 9 1/4" long by 8" wide. Sturdy but with obvious brittle leather.
I can't quite make out the stamping on each side. Seat post clamp is included.
A nice big, sturdy seat. Leather is soft and pliable, with plenty of patina for the finishing touch on an original bike. Would probably clean up a little if so desired. The original seat post clamp is included. $35 shipped, discounted for local sales.
.
Price now $250. Someone (not me) stole the tank and headlight cover but the paint is very nice and the matching Royal Chains are holding air. Pictures tell the story pretty well but I'm happy to answer any questions. No Shipping but I'll offer free delivery to Fitchburg at the end of this...
I'm not sure what the market is on these Birmingham beasts, but let's see if we can find out.
No shipping on this one but I'll offer free delivery to Mike's next CT (Dudley) show.
