Looking for this frame which is the continuous all the way through double straight bar. Ideally looking for frame only, rough or old repaint is perfect but no damage, preferably 26 inch. Open to a whole bike as well.
Was reading the thread on this and I know this frame typically came on the 62'...
I'll post in wanted but I am looking for one of these as well. The continuous frame only. Just frame or whole bike and rough. Prefer 26 inch but open to seeing any size.
Picked up this little gem yesterday..80' cruiser. 24" wheel version. Somewhat rare bike I believe. All original. Tires are shot but thats alright. I think these came with the cushion slimline grips? If anyone knows for sure let me know. Thanks
Stingray/fastback bars and sissy bar. The usual wear. Some marring where the year is on the handlebar so cant quite make it out. More pics available on request.
Got a set of wheels and some tires for sale.
Wheel set - 2 speed kickback hub, center stamped rims. There are some areas of chrome wear/loss on the rims but certainly great riding set. Have not personally used these wheels so pretty sure rear hub is probably going to need a refresh, truing. I...
68 Stingray hotrod. Jr/shorty frame with full size parts. Has 66-67 handlebars, S7's with an original gripper slik rear. I've ran an S2 on it before so no issues there. Cheapie seat/grips and pedals are beaters otherwise nice parts. Original paint with decals on the guard and forks only...
I will say that these suck to do if your hub has been messed with at all and is missing internal / external washers and spacers like mine was and isn't spinning right.
Grey Ghost I think I have a schematic if wanted I can look but like Shawn said depending on skills might be better taking to a...
Dec of '60 frame and parts. Didn't have the rest on it when outside pics where taken but what's in the pics is included. I also have some not so great s7 rims I can throw in if wanted. Has its fair share of scrapes and scratches. More pics available on request. Great for a rider/rat build. $150...
Yeah it was weird. I would say it was about a minute. I've done them before with no issues so not sure what happened. Decal was from bicycle bones, he dosn't make the peel n apply style for this bike or probably would have gone that route. Its my fav sting-ray so I'll probably just spring for...
Not with the google search it not but I get what your saying. There are unfortunately some facetious peps on here sometimes so I was just reacting. Plasticnerd is a good dude so my apologies.
I appreciate the info however maybe you should then google the true meaning of an acronym before you post it {expletive expletive}..that slang is basically stating an item is overpriced.
I wish some you would just keep your comments to yourself...really glwts?? Maybe somebody actually needs a nice wheel for their bike dude. I'll just go elsewhere then..
I've got a really nice non s7 20 inch front wheel available. I think it would be a great wheel for a non schwinn muscle bike that needs a front wheel. Was already nice but I completely rebuilt, evaporusted it etc, came out great. Really nice chrome. No dents, brake burn or anything. I don't know...
I have too and recently did a water slide one, prep was good but it started flaking off couple days later. So was considering re-screen but his prices are high.
Up for debate man. Nothings ever definitive with Schwinn. My understanding is 66 is the last year for yellow oval but who knows when in 66 they stopped and went to this style.
I believe these to be 66' tires from what I've researched..correct me if I'm wrong. The date codes appear to be 3/6 on the westwind front and 6/6 on the rear. The rear slick is in incredible shape, really no cracking at all. The front does have some on one side basically none on the other, both...
Handlebars don't have to be stamped '70 but would like at least early 70's. Looking for fairly decent chrome or ones that will clean up well with evaporust will work too.
Hi there, could use the experts help on identifying this bike. For sale locally. I can't read the badge from pics. Appears to maybe not be 26inch wheels? Any idea on value appreciated. Thanks!
NOS coaster hub set with spokes/nips. The spokes are not nos but very nice shape, they are the heavier gauge spokes that came on these bikes. I did lace these to some rims for for a project that didn't materialize so they were never ridden. The front ACS hub is dated 84 but is visually correct...
Looking an extremely tattered headlight housing for my straight bar rust queen project. Looking for one in white but no holes as I'm probably going to rebuild the guts of it. Lens a bonus and would pay extra but not necessary.
Thanks, Andy
