Hello, Well I think that they are both good brakes, center pull? Org. Is always the best , unless you what to be different with your bicycle. By the way if you didnt know but the Balilla company an name is a faceist thing but not that changes the fact that they made great parts.- jackomeano

skip tooth chained (diamond) for Schwinn

Maybe compared to the standard model ok, but mine is not the standard model it was the highest model of the time. And is more rare than the racing models because they were rode hard. 4 Me it was when I was living in Marshall MI in 1984 ( I was 10) And I would work on my Gt properformer and friends bikes... And then I got into radio controlled cars ordered a Kosoyo Javilin 4wd It came in a box with hundreds of peices , the guy at the hobby shop said a high number to build...- jackomeano

Here is a Lazzaretti bicycle. Rare even here in Roma! This bicycle shop opened in 1915 and is still going... Parts are Gnutti crank hubs, Universial brakes original .- jackomeano

Where and when did you learn.......?
4 Me it was when I was living in Marshall MI in 1984 ( I was 10) And I would work on my Gt properformer and friends bikes... And then I got into radio controlled cars ordered a Kosoyo Javilin 4wd It came in a box with hundreds of peices , the guy at the hobby shop said a high number to build...- jackomeano
