I made a mistake on the serial number. The serial number is 4445. I talked to the owner of the bike and he corrected me on serial number. Drop stand rack
It is the same as the CCM ones that I have ha in the past. I think I have one that is missing the drop stand. The clip is still on it. Max is right saying an extra hole was drilled, maybe to move it to work with a bike with different rear dropouts.- oldy57

Why did Schwinn not ship bikes to Canada?
The Goodrich badged bikes were CCM made from what I remember, I did sell a Goodrich badge to Barry a year or 2 ago. I had a Goodrich tricycle with same badge, smaller but same look. Major Taylor Sliding Clamp

There has been a few posts about Hercules Kestrel bikes on this forum. Like a lot of British bikes it must have been brought over after WW11 when some of the vets came back after rebuilding some of the destroyed buildings and systems. This one could be very early 50's.- oldy57

Hercules Kestrel Super Club
I cannot get to it right now but I think the hubs are Airlite, alloy flanges, steel barrel. There is a picture of the shifter, second picture. round shifter, looks like a bell.- oldy57

Hercules Kestrel Super Club
There has been a few posts about Hercules Kestrel bikes on this forum. Like a lot of British bikes it must have been brought over after WW11 when some of the vets came back after rebuilding some of the destroyed buildings and systems. This one could be very early 50's.- oldy57

NOS CCM small badge from 1950's/60's. Garry from Ashdown Company in blue and Garry in black, black one was early 30's, blue from 50's. Sovereign from Wood Vallance Ltd in Winnipeg. This one is from early 20's. One of the last bikes they sold. Bike was in bad shape.- oldy57

Hercules Kestrel Super Club
I bought this Hercules Kestrel Super Club from a friend a few weeks ago. Just finished the clean up of the bike. When I got it the first time I tried the shifter in all gears the cable broke. Picked up 200 of these 50/60's rodder magazines. There is some cool old school rods here. They were at an antique store selling at $18 each. I saw them a year ago and they never sold any. I made an offer now for all and got them. Also picked up this cool old 1925 CCM made bike for Wood Valance...- oldy57

What bike did you ride today?
I have not posted in a while. I rode the red/cream Schwinn last week, first ride on it since I bought it. 15km ride to a local park on some nice trails. Rode great, no problems. Beautiful Red River in background. I rode the Schwinn DX this evening on a local gravel trail. 20km with no...- oldy57

His & Hers Schwinn bikes.
Thanks Shawn. I have a sliding rail saddle around somewhere but might be prewar. Pedals will probably stay on it, they are in good shape, probably repops. I will check on the reflectors and light screw.- oldy57
