I bought what I was told were a R and L pedal set from a seller at Monroe but I got 2 L's. If the seller sees this, do you have at least one R to match these? These are the very small pedals for a kids bike. Thanks.
I really like the dark blue. I told my friend I'd put a bike together for her, so cleaned up an '80 Hollywood frame and WOW, the paint was a beautiful dark blue! None of my other blue Schwinn compare.
I have a few Sky Blue bikes, but one 1980 Hollywood bike I have is an extra deep blue. Even the original grips are a darker blue to match the bike. The bike has the original paint so was wondering if Schwinn changed the Sky Blue shade at some point?

Okay I've confirmed that the axle is 5/16.
The bike is a 50's ladies Murray balloon tire bike.
I need at least 2 but would like more if you have them. Thank you!
It is a 50's Murray I think. I'll take a pic when I get home from work. The dust cover is attached and kinda looks more like a washer but I'll take anything that fits.
Thanks!
Picked up this girls Eliminator today. It was so cheap I couldn't resist. Looks all original, even the tires. Not as cool as the boys, but still fun. 1976.
I wish mine had a date on it.
I think I'll remove the new paint.
I rather have it look rough than have bad paint job on it.
If anyone comes across an original paint Kalamazoo plate I'd be very interested in purchasing it.
Thanks!
I've got this Kalamazoo Michigan license plate (obviously repainted), and it seems to be too large to be a bicycle plate. Is this an authentic vintage plate and about what year would it be from if it is. Thanks.
Yah kno what, I think 20" wheels might fit. There were 20" tandems at the same place I got this, but the frames seemed so much larger, so I just assumed this would be 16".
So I guess it will be easier to find parts that fit:tongueclosed:
Who made a tandem with 16" wheels? If you have a pic of a 16" tandem please post a pic. I picked up small tandem frame that takes 16" wheels. Frame only, nothing else, no fork, and no badge. Just curious what it may have looked like originally. Thanks.
Looking at my notes from researching these a few years ago, these were made from '51-'54. No 16" bikes for '55 and '56, then Pixie from '57 on which has the removable bar.
