Yes, they were covered in cloth tape. I removed it hoping to find some identifying marking, but didn't see any. I haven't worked them loose from the stem to see if there's something under the stem clamp.
And yes, we will be looking to sell them, but I figure that will be easier to do if I know...
Another "help me figure out what this is" thread. . .
Anyone recognize these old bars? Shape suggests they're pretty old. Any idea what they would go on?
I am helping a friend clean up a 1965 Schwinn Fiesta girls bike which is described in the catalog as being “radiant blue“. Does anyone know a good paint that’s a close color match for touching up scratched places?

This cruiser is badged by the Ludwig bicycle shop in Cincinnati. I've been told that they built up frames made by a number of the major manufacturers of the time - Schwinn, Huffman, etc. A few people have said this is definitely a Schwinn. At least one has said it's definitely not. Is there any...
I mentioned these in the thread on the Ludwig-badged bike, but wanted to give them their own post.
Two Roadmaster step through cruisers built by the Cleveland Welding Company. One is in great shape, the other a bit worse. The second is missing the seat, seatpost, and chain, and the tank has...
Thanks for the correction of my typo!
Here are some pics of the Roadmasters, but I'll set up a separate thread for them (with pricing) to avoid confusion.
UPDATE: Thanks to CABErs, the frame has been identified as a 1953/4 Westfield.
I've got a Ludwig bicycle shop-badged cruiser of unknown age. Maybe 40's or 50's? Drive train is skip-link. See photos for condition. (Pedals are removed and handlebars turned just to help with storage). Potentially...
