Missing some of the harder parts and a repaint over original Red, but it's a solid project over this winter.
Missing: turn signal switch and blub tray, tank and horn unit, chainguard.

Still looking for these headlights. Not yet ready to pay NOS/Mint conditions,. But I may end up doing that.
Trying to find something a little rough but complete, even if it's not working.
Thanks.
Hey Thanks!
Sorry, I missed ya, Bud!
It's a Roadmaster Luxury Liner repainted Blue from its stock Black.
I do have a Hawthorne All-American as well!
Salutations from Green Bay!

Man, of all the details to be missing., it sure has EVERYTHING else!
What a Beautiful Rider, Sean!!
I'd love to see a LOT more of this either here or inbox.
With my Chippewa being original paint, this is a big help in defining other details that are original to the model. That's the cleanest...
Of my findings, there are Three "Super" style models of Cleveland Welding Co.
The first and most well known of course is the Western Flyer Super, of which I have limited but some original ads for.
The next is the Hiawatha Chippewa, I own a 1947 dated model myself, such as the one above.
The...
I have a Hawthorne Badge and Guard on mine. The Hawthorne Variant as I understood was the All American by name. Hawthorne by badge like my Hiawatha Chippewa is a Hiawatha badge but Chippewa in the Ad by name.
[Wrong rack and light, of course]
I'm toying with a CWC All American lately. Roughly a 1950. Haven't flipped it to check yet. Can't find Any Ads for one to affirm parts replacement or light.

A bit dirty but very sound and VERY clean as it's coming. I took a little mineral spirit just to see what shape the chrome was in and it's all cleaning up next to very nice condition.
Looking at $35 plus ship for whole crankset/chain ring together.
Thanks!

There's a small bend in the left bottom brace. I don't have a vice at the moment or I'd have happily straightened it out myself.
All hardware included.
Solid. Whole and ready for a cleanup.
Willing to trade for accessories
$65 + Ship
I'd pose this to be a Wards Hawthorne CWC Built All American. Went right along with Western Flyer Super/Hiawatha Chippewa.
Solo rear rack with a shockease fork using the non Barrel style springs.
But later models [pic 2] featured the bumpers and barrel springs.
What throws me is the tank not...
I have a 1947 Hiawatha Chippewa and a 1950+ Hawthorne All American that both need proper lights. Any condition as long as they're whole.
One looks like the Ribbed CWC Super fork mount, the other looks like the Fork mount below in two tone lens and needle face.
So I have two of three?
A 1950+ All American
A 1947 Chippewa
Still need the headlights for both those as well as the whole of the most coveted model of bike, the [Elusive to me] Western Flyer Super.
I have a bunch of ads and scans for the Super and the Chippewa now, but if anyone has anything...
Found this in search to help kinda back it up some, but folks label things anything these days.

Ive only ever seen one other like the one I posted. Same exact frame and model and paint scheme but more sunbaked with a later model multispeed seat. I was surprised to find it had a Higgins wheel on it and I'll try to source it again if I'm able.
These examples are pretty evident...
As I understood, Elgin badges were used until 1947. I even had one I bought that was sold as Post War [see photo A] as example:
Info? This has been had and sold for some years now, this is the only photo I have to go off
Had one frame like this still in the local circuit. Had this idea to slap an Evans Action on it and Did at one point to theorize a very strange rider. It's in my project posts somewhere, here. Absolutely a favorite in way of lines and make.
