I was looking to keep, it would be my first bike that's older than 1960s. They are asking $275, If I do buy I would eventually replace seat and pedals for correct parts. Except for tires, to me tires are tires, I wouldn't be worried about getting correct vintage tires.
I have a chance to pick this Skip Tooth Schwinn, I just want to know what it's worth before buying it. Just wanna make sure I don't over spend and want to know if this bike might be anything special.
So the fenders that were initially used on the Cruisers were they wald or actual Schwinn fenders? Wre the fenders ever brought back as an option on the cruisers
Can someone please tell me whats the deal with the Cruiser fenders? I've heard ppl claim the Cruisers didn't have fenders from factory, some say they used wald fenders and were a dealer installed option, others say Schwinn had fenders made specifically for the cruisers but the actual fit was bad...
