Nice condition little 16" wheel all original Schwinn Pixie, good tires, tuned up and ready to ride. Looking for a Flamboyant Blue Hollywood Chain Guard
Like this, but in better shape for a 26" frame. Flamboyant Blue was only used in 1962 & 1963 on the Hollywood, so it is a little harder to find and verify unless you know the difference between the more common Radiant Blue & Sky Blue or have a frame with the original guard you can verify date...- irideiam

From my research this is a 1946 Schwinn DX, first year of Schwinn's frame redesign after the war, serial B86137 on bottom bracket, unfortunately the cranks were not correct so no date verification there and I couldn't find a number stamped on the inside of the fork end through the ugly spray...- irideiam

Sold One year 26" 1961 Schwinn Flying Star Frame/Fork/Fenders/Etc
The 1961 Schwinn Flying Star with this double bar frame was a one year model, the frame was also used on the Tornado and Skipper. It's a middle weight but like most MW Schwinn frames from the 60s it will handle most 2.125 balloon tire profiles with the fenders on and 2.35 with the fenders off...- irideiam
