At first I thought I could adjust the spokes to straighten the wheels but pretty much every one is tightened down all the way. Looks like the spoke ends are bent and they need to be replaced.- Neanderthal77

Picked up these two a few weekends ago. A 39'? Twin and a 36' single bar Shelby. The triple speed wheels on the Twin will go on another project, I have a pair of Elgin wheels with the finned rear and floating front hubs for it. That is a great project you have. Love the Manton & Smith bikes. I think if you find a rack you like you can just take the legs off and make a bracket to attach it to the fender. @scrubbinrims has a white one that would match the patina look you want. 53' Western Flyer X53 clean up.
Thank you guys, I had fun cleaning up the bike. Unfortunately I sold it to a fellow caber because he wanted it. I picked up this Twin the other evening and looking for a little help on the year. I know the chaingaurd, grips, speedo and fenders are mot correct. Anyone have an idea what the fenders are from? Colson Flyer camel back information please
Digging around and figured out what the tabs on the dropouts are for, early chain adjusters. So I am guessing the bike is pre 34/35? Did Colson stamp a serial anywhere on these bikes? Found this picture of a bike that was for sale here.- Neanderthal77

Picked up this 20" Simplex built bike. Have a girls bike built by them, the only reason I knew what it was. Still haven't seen any others. Colson Flyer camel back information please
Digging around and figured out what the tabs on the dropouts are for, early chain adjusters. So I am guessing the bike is pre 34/35? Did Colson stamp a serial anywhere on these bikes? Found this picture of a bike that was for sale here.- Neanderthal77

Colson Flyer camel back information please
Looking for some information on this Colson Flyer? Can't find a serial number. Looks to be original paint with black box pinstriping. The rear wheel with ND Model C hub seems to be the original. It is missing the brake arm. Think the front was replaced after whatever broke the fork and bent...- Neanderthal77
