Hi,
I have what I think is a Singer or Coventry Machinist's Ordinary with a Carter trailing brake and the only reference I can find to this are an advert and museum photograph of a Singer Challenge machine. I have located a makers stamp mark on the seat spring that is very feint but is in the...
I have a TOC Model 50 Columbia shaft drive and need a steel front wheel, adjustable handlebars and stem and seat post.
Please let me know what you have. Thanks.
Chris
Hi,
Mine is a shaft drive and I don't have any spare parts for the Columbia I'm afraid. My other bikes are early British so very different I guess. Good luck. Chris
Hi,
I'm in the UK and have a Model 50 Columbia that was complete when we first bought it years ago but was dismantled and now I am struggling to find a few pieces amongst the masses of parts. Jesse McCauley is helping me out on a couple of pieces but I may be interested in the adjustable bars...
My bike came with these aero style pedals (Torrington Streamline possibly) but the reflectors are crushed. Does anyone sell replacements as I will be trying to get the metal housings back in to shape?
Fitted a British Sturmey Archer light for now but have bought a larger and earlier light to...
Hi,
I have a Columbia Mode;l 50 and cannot locate the axle bolt / nut for the rear wheel. Did you manage to locate them for your bike and, if so, do you know of any others that I can buy?
Thanks.
Chris
I have bare metalled my bike but am looking for a suitable tank plus correct headlight to fix to the Shockmaster fork before I start painting.
Any help locating them would be appreciated. I am in the UK but happy to pay the extra shipping costs.
Thanks.
Chris
Hi,
Did you sell this tank? I am in the UK and need a 3 Gill non-bent tank for my 1940 CWC All American and wonder whether this would fit?
Thanks.
Chris
Hi,
Thank you. I'm in the UK and this is my first American bike project but I just love the look of them and particularly those with tanks like yours. My bike has the Shockmaster sprung forks and is pretty much complete but came to me without a tank so if you come across one please let me know...
I am looking for a 3 Gill non-bent tank for my 1940 CWC All American hopefully with the hardware and horn. Photo of my frame below.
Also interested in a stand that clips to the rear fender, correct rack and chain guard.
Thank you.
Chris
Thank you for your messages. Will I need to find a 3 Gill tank specific to a CWC All American or are they an accessory that would fit a number of frames / makes? Sorry to ask these questions but it is all new to me as I have only worked on British bikes to date! Chris
Hi,
I am new to The CABE and also in the UK so am struggling to find information on what I think is a 1940 CWC All American bicycle that I have just found at my Dad's place which I am clearing out. Dad has a large collection of veteran cycles including Ordinaries, Safeties, Quadrants...
