Here is a minty 3 of 69 that has been hanging around the shop for YEARS. I'm thinking about snatching it up cuz it is Sooo clean.
The blue speedsteer was just given to me last week. They are both the smaller version, but then so am I.
I have the correct bars for the blue one. Just...
I have a customer who is restoring a early 50's wf super like he owned as a kid. So far what I know he needs is, the turn signal switch, a NICE set of hoops or a similar wheel set, and maybe a chain guard.
Whatcha got?
Thanks

So I bought this set of wheels on ebay figuring I would lace them into some "aircooled" hubs I have and put them on my 36 Elgin.
Today the wheels showed up and, I have NEVER seen old steel wheels, or even newer steel wheels with NO rust what ever on the inside. Plus when you take into...
I can see how that would be great for bending fork legs or drop outs, but I can't see how that could temporarily spread them for insertion, since you couldn't install a wheel with this mounted on the frame. Well, I guess if it was already through the spokes of the wheel before you put this on...
Here is a trick I learned after doing this for several years.
I put down one layer of foam, about 1/2 thick then sculpt it using a electric carving knife. Then I use another layer of foam about 1/4 inch over that. Then headliner foam with stretchy cloth over that, then the leather. They turn...
So I have been toying with the idea of building a black panther bike. Nothing to do with the film, it just seems like something Schwinn should have done.
What I'm thinking is a black and black candy paint job. Black where the "normal" bike would be black and candy over what would normally be...
For your tank.
I had been looking for some of these for quite some time, but all I could find were vinyl, which IMO just don't cut it. So I made my own.
$10. a pair plus shipping.
If for any reason there is a problem with one of them, I will send a replacement for free.
I can coat them either...
I wanted, planned to go but didn't get paid in time. Plus my old dog has incontinence problems and he would have had to come up with me. Hopefully next year!
"A" is a spoke threading tool. It rolls the threads on. I will look at the other stuff.
"D" is a chain breaker.
"J" is a crank extractor.
"B" is a generic tool. Used for many things. You wrap the chain around whatever, a pipe for instance, then adjust the end of the vise grip until it clamps...
We had one on display at our Collins store before we closed it. I'm not sure where it is now, probably in storage at our Eugene Hutch's store. I can ask the owners if they would be up for selling it if you are serious.
Wow!
Some really good stuff there, and prices on some very cool stuff is still very low. If it stays that way.
On a side note. I had a Deluxe Woodie once... but it's been years. :(
I know where there is a pre war 24 inch straight bar. I almost bought it for myself, then I realized it was a 24 inch. I'm 80% sure it's a straight bar, though it could be a dx. Let me know if this interests you, and if it does, I can get a price and pics.
I also have this little guy, I think...
