Check out this early 60s SS. Seller claims it to be a "'62" and in the listing its paired with a ladies '64 varsity. SS came out in '64 as most of us know, but this one is equipped with a huret triple. The bars and stem are throwing me off also as if my memory serves me decently well ive seen...

Ahh nope, im silly, it was the second year of it being renamed the Sierra (64) that came with Weinmann alloys.

IIRC of the two years it was available, the latter it came with Weinmann allow rims vs steel S6 earlier....or am I thinking of something else?

Thinking this '52 Traveler might be the same? Perhaps a little lighter? Could be lighter from sun exposure?? Was never able narrow down a name on this color either.

I can concur with seeing them on others as well. This one didnt fit the steerer tube correctly, had a wobble, hence the change.

For reference that was not the OG stem to the bike that its pictured with, nor did it fit correctly. Mo betta'
