Looking for two Garton Power Tractor 10x1.75 tires for this wagon. Would also consider buying the complete wheel. Same paint and condition would be a plus but not a big deal.
Thanks!!

Awesome piece of history. Don’t touch it. The original military bikes are so much more valuable if left alone. Take the time to clean it not to change a thing. And!! Leave the yellow paint on it. Although I can’t be 100% it looks to be the same paint they was used on the vietnam era flight line...
Sped Man.
Ur package was not delivered or stolen or a scheme by the USPS to defraud ya from an insurance claim. It was a bad scan. That’s it. The USPS is still in possession of your package. They still had it in your PO as of 6:27 last night.

If this is the same bike pictured in the first post it is a postwar civilian model. As Mike stated above the headbadge mounting holes would be side to side if prior to 45. On a pre war bike the collar that connects the two pieces of the bike together has a lip around each edge of the collar...
When Shelby was sold to AMF they moved to Cleveland OH and that’s when you start to see the grooves on the lights as well as the tanks and chain guards. Rear rack too.
Your light is in really good shape compared to mine. [emoji853][emoji106]

I picked up a rather neglected 38 colson steer from da rear tandem. Missing the chain between the front and rear cranks. How many link chain is needed? What type of seats were on it?
I couldn’t pass it up with them tassels dangling out front!!
Thanks for your help

That light is from A 1954+ Shelby bicycle. I have a girls 54 Shelby with the exact same light on it. I’m not entirely sure about the yellow color of that lens. I have seen some clear lenses yellow with age but not that much. It could have?!?. I’ll post a pic of mine Later tonight. That little u...
I guess I have been pricing these wrong.

I’ve only seen that style on mid fifties Shelby’s. I believe they went with that style after AMF took over Shelby. 1954 or so. Earlier versions had the Shelby script on the sides. As far as I know Rollfast used the same style light but the sides were flat. No script or lines on them.

Picked this Park stand up at a local flea market. Guy who was selling it told me used it to hold weed wackers that he would repair. Lol

Serge,
I’ve been looking at the original pic of the serial number and it’s driving me crazy. I’m still leaning as the bike being an MC model. The only things separating the frames on the MG and The MC is that serial number. Otherwise They are all the same! The fenders, stands could have been...
Great find and good luck on the restoration.
I do have to question the serial number might not be MG but perhaps a MC version. I do not believe there are any other examples with a MG followed by 5 digits and the letter A. That combo is only shown with the MC serial numbered bikes. All of which...
Thanks for posting the pic.
I believe that the bike pictured is a Marine Corp issued MC serial # version. Drop stand, no headlight ( no mounting holes in the fender either) and the heavy duty motorcycle style rims.
Do you still have the original slide?
Thanks again

Me. I haven’t purchased the bike yet. I was just seeing if I did if I would be able to get it sent to me. I would need it shipped to PA. Of course your Time, effort and...

Need a little help. I was asked by a customer to help id a bike. I know little to nothing about Raleigh bikes. I haven’t seen the bike in person just a couple of cell phone pics that are a bit rough. I do apologize for the pics but that’s how I got them. Any info as to the model, age etc would...
Don't bend the truss rods!! I'll buy them from ya!! I need a set for a girls Shelby. Please measure them. If they are 23.5" to 24" long they will fit the girls bike I have. Shorter ones are from a different model boys bike.

Took my old Peerless Badged Shelby down from the rafters. Figured it was time to get it back on the road. After a couple new tubes and some oil on the chain I took the old girl for a ride around the neighborhood. Now I have to clean and grease all the moving parts....something I should have done...
I came across a set of Veith tires. 26x2.125. I've never seen or heard about this brand before. They are soft and rideable. All markings are in the photos and are only on one side of the tire. Any info on them would be appreciated.

What year are you looking for? I think I have some early 50's Hornet parts. Pretty sure they are green. I'll check tonight and let you know.

The Flight line is one of the most active areas on the airbase where the planes are loaded, fueled and prepped for service. Most maintenance, Fuel and support vehicles that were designated for use on the flight line were painted yellow.
Does anyone have a semi affordable Schwinn Starburst badge? Had my wife's FairLady on the rack on the back of the truck and when we got home the bike was still there but the badge was missing. Of all parts that could fall off the damn bike it would happen to be that badge. If anyone has one that...
I'm planning on going but it might only be for a couple hours. Probably take a bike or two to ride around with.
Are you bringing any of yours?

I'm looking for a set of truss rods for a girls prewar Shelby. They look like the ones pictured but need to be a bit longer 23 1/2" from the threaded end to the center of the mounting hole. I don't need the bracket but will take one.
Thanks

Ah My friend. ya noticed the steely eyed stare caused by much sampling of adult beverages the evening before and the once flat belly that is now encased in layers of padding. Ahhh how that Morning sit up ,as I struggle to get out of bed, has made me the man I am today!! Lol

Took my 45' military Compax to a parade on Sat. Thanks to one Military reenactor who just happen to have a Thompson tommy gun handy. Had a chance to redo one of the Compax ads. Well almost. Had a great time.

Day late but on Saturday my daughter and I were invited by the Northeast PA Vintage Military Vehicle Group to ride our Military bikes in a parade. I had my boys G519 and my daughter had the girls version. About a 1/4 mile from our house the rear hub in her bike had what I would describe as a...

Adrian,
The yellow bike came out of Tinker AFB in Oklahoma about 4 years ago. The MASQ on the bike is from the Military Airlift Squadron. They were stationed at Tinker in the late 60's. (So I've been told) I was also told that it was more than likely used as a flight line bike. There is a...
