This Twin 40 sold at an auction today. Very original and looked like it would clean up nice. Tires and rims were roached, rear light/reflector missing and chrome bad but overall pretty good. Went for $875.

Interested in finding a NOS or near mint set of pre-war whitewall tires 24 x 2.125. Fisk would be ideal but others OK so long as a pair around 1937 - '41 vintage.

Another project bike that was picked up from a local who said he purchased the bicycle new in 1938. It appears to be an assembly by the LC&S Co. using parts from stock on hand. Main parts are Schwinn but sprocket and chainguard are others (Rollfast?). Has some potential for a $75 investment.
