no pics but just comments. It was a SOLD OUT show but a lot of empty spaces. Normally there was a heavy presence of foot traffic but not so much this year. Still had a great show,..sold a few, bought parts and even traded one. Still count me in for next year!
I remember one year, I-70 was closed west of Richmond. Spent 3 hours just setting there. By the time I got there its was around 10:00 as you know the goodies are gone. Never had a real issue but ice bothers me as I don't walk well.
Have one very similar to this. Just curios what pedals do your have? Waffles, just rib type etc. I know it doesn't matter much but my 10 speed reflector type is just plain wrong!! Also my SN is W0 or WO so that peaked my interest. I think mine has Huffy Rims and the factory color is blue
I went looking for it over the Holidays and came up empty. That explains it. It was nice when I sold mine that it was registered on the site! Kind of proves it as not a build.
Another great company to work with is PARK TOOLS for bicycles. Had 3 warantied over Christmas with no questions asked or a guilt trip.
I carry bike tools with me and most are MAC. So I can look at them quickly and know where they go. I also love pawn shops, garage sales etc.
no.....I would trust a older craftsman ratchet or even S&K.. It has decent weight to it and not light cheap feeling.
A fellow mechanic said something that makes sense....USA metal gets super hot to melt off impurites. With coal..other countries might not do the same in temperature. Internal...
I'm a professional wrench. Craftsman ratchets just plain suck unless you like busted and bleeding knuckles. Snap On ratchets are far more safer than these. So whoever said they were the same was not depending on them for a living.
nice story.....had issues with some of my stuff from the 80's. "Broken Dinosaur" stuff, the Snap On driver said..If it wasn't for guys like me that bought and bought stuff, you wouldn't have a job now...he would really get po-ed when I would hand him a receipt from 1986 showing I bought the item...
yep. They will take care of it. Bought a composite hammer back in 1986 and the casing came off. They replaced it will no questions asked. Only thing some part numbers SVT I think were military issued sockets and will not waranty them. most are 12pts that were rounded off. Spent yesterday getting...
Are you guys sure...? This topic was covered years back and pouring it down the drain kills bacteria in most septic tanks. Sure I spread it on the neighboors fence line, but was told never down the drain (septic) unless you have public sewer.
I know they are good buyers but love beating you down on price. Say you have 125 on it, they will offer you 60.
Even at you best price at a 100 the counter at 70. Hard to deal with...
I've searched most of them. they look plastic with attaching side bolts. This doesn't have any. Will continue to dig all the years of Spaceliners. close though.
Heavy steel not plastic. Judging by the angles would say off a girls bike. But all the attaching holes are from the bottom. Nothing on the sides. Measures about 3 1/2" on the top, 5 1/2" on the bottom.
1966 Schwinn Tiger in Red
Serial Number KBxxxx, 26” w/w Schwinn Westwind tires, chrome front rack, single speed. not perfect but nice rider.
250.00 one of the last Tigers built. Ended in 1966.
not interested in shipping this. Shoulder is on the mend right now.

I met a lot of bike friends there and the old Heritage site..Info is info and the a lot of them are here..GTs58 rings a bell.
But, too political there now as you can't voice your opinion.
If I was a post office employee, I would not accept this to begin with. It arrived in good shape considering everything inside rattled. It was not a CABER. See duct tape can be a friend!
Anyway, Congrats on the sale. I have problems selling 2 items that were together for years, can't imagine what it felt like with this one. WOW, on some of the prices.
I had a chance to view these some more. Don't understand the rear gear hub. Its so small that maybe jus ta 2 speed then 6 on the cassette. making it a 12 speed.
The hubs were dated 1983.
Will eventually get to them. I hope!
ok. will do that tomorrow. THANKS. Ever seen a rear hub like that??
with reflector on the pedals and 2 per wheel I figured close to that. The mixte frame "swoops up" not like the ones you see the most of..
Bought his / hers Hurcules that were made in Germany. Had to hide them from the wife so right now I'm limited on seeing my purchase.
I do have the manual for it but its also in German. No dates on the book to guide me on the year of the bikes.
Have you ever seen these? Has a 6 speed with the...
might go as well. But a lot of it will be the weather.
need a few mountain bike parts..700c tires, seats, spoke protectors, pedals etc. Nothing too valuable but getting my junk ready to sell.
I bought 40.. 27 x 1 1/4 tires. these are cheapy made tires so can see where the would egg-out over time. But not getting rims just to save my tires (for these). May be forced to lay them flat.
The others ones, thats a great idea. plus gets the rims out of the way.
thats a great idea. with the track and hooks. Like a hospital uses to seperate patients. Then can grab one without disturbing the other 40! Still working on my base cabinets and will see where to install them. THANKS....
Going to revive this thread...Recently we all have extra time on our hands!! I didn't realize how many extra tires and rims i do have and looking at this thread, everyone has a different idea.
Like the rolling cart idea but not around my cars or even customer cars.
Keep them coming! Will find...
