Unfortunately Brant your apology is not accepted at this time. You've done it once and you'll do it again. I have a ZERO TOLERANCE for people and their behavior like this.
You made it clear I am not needed here on this Cabe Forum so I'll be gone from here any day now. I've been very generous...
My 1902 catalogue shows 26 tooth gear which is what yours has. The 1899 shows 24. The tandem looks the same otherwise.
The 1902 catalogue says the Tandem is Model 72 if that helps.
To get ALL the correct pieces for it can get costly but it is possible.
I would take my time and put together the Orient parts that really belong on it.
- Would have been a wonderful addition to my old Stayer bike room! (some others not shown)
Eddie - I know many years ago it was thought it could be a Drysdale. Is that off the list now as being built by Drysdale?

You're welcome - it's the closest one I could come up with but pretty sure that's what it is anyway.
Several things I would do next but that's only if it is a Patee.

Same fork crown, same seat cluster etc.
- possibly a year later a different chainring used as in the bike posted - next ad down

Probably a "PATEE".
Note: and some Racers did come with a long wheelbase back during the 1890's TOC era.
You would know if it's cast iron or alloy as soon as you pick it up.
Aluminum feels like you're picking up a pair of running shoes where cast iron feels like you're picking up a bowling ball..!!!
Here ya go Mike from the catalogue Model 65
Also - shown again here is the "BROWN D" saddle from when I showed the original poster of this thread wanting to know what the BROWN D looked like.
BROWN D - is bottom right 2nd one up.
I've been looking for many years for one of these for my Eddie Bald bike - 1899 Spalding.
NOTE: One appears to have just sold that was being saved for me all these yrs but ...
NEEDED - Christy #13 Saddle for my restoration/preservation
Thank you
Hence the name "ZIMMY"! ( post #2 )
This is what it actually looks like from the paper. I've missed out on several of these over the last 25 years.
... And it's the same image used on the book about Zimmerman. A great read! Probably his most used image for cabinet cards etc.

I've been looking for a "New England" Racer curved seat tube for probably more than 20 years. I haven't found one yet. I've only seen one "New England" but it wasn't the curved seat tube model.
The great "Alf Goullet" raced the diamond frame and "Kopsky" raced the curved seat tube model. As...
I just noticed that Copake had an auction yesterday for bicycles and automobile related material.
I had a glance at auction estimates and what the items actually sold for.
