A blast from the past...I restored this one some 20 odd years back. Still looks fresh, looks
like this could have been resto'd last week, paint, chrome, cad, everything held up, doubt
it was ever ridden. NOS Typhoon USA tires still have all the nubs.
Original parts restoration Only repro parts...
One thing that might help.... Transplant a standard ...say...Freewheel hub from that era cluster...
they don't stick out as far... then you only have the 1/2 inch or so width growth to deal with...
Find em on New Worlds etc

could be early postwar beast.. those oddly covered (vinyl) B-1s saddles
were an early post war thang
I DO! Actually they are really well made tires.. but have become a 'one size fits all Go To' on sooooo many bikes.
I try to be more 'specific' to the model, best I can anyway... So would rather see Goodyear, US Royal or Typhoons
on that mostly original paint survivor... get it as closely...
Reproduction fenders, rear reflector, taillight for sure...wrong seat...
Repainted light cover and carrier. ... Carlisle tires...ick!
still not a bad survivor
looks like splotchy touchups here and there...
15 not nuts...but a bit up there
A good bike for the "unknowing" public as far as bringing more than the suggested 500.00 estimate.
Some time and effort went into that beast... There's a niche market of "wow factor" buyers
that could part with considerably more cash for that one. $ and time spent on that one.
Antique mall/...

1st pic.....top 3 are Wide Deep profile with the Schwinn 34-late 30s width/dimensions...
the rear fender is VERY similar to a 1936 Cycle plane wide profile fender and fits the
prewar Non Double Diamond but 36' and up Schwinn frame perfectly... I believe the brace hole spacing is the same.

Looks to be partial repro stuff and original, maybe 50/50? Don't know for sure...
not bad tho. not like the crappy import lowrider ones that litter the earth.
Needs S bolts to be a million times better, replace generic carriage ones.

Purchased at auction.... untested! Decent looking original drop center

Here's an early and Odd with NO date Morrow hub heavy duty 105 gauge spokes...
just no date stamp on this one! Wheel is straight and not OD paint but looks like a
possible good candidate for G519 OR Cycle Truck!
Nice sound solid rear drop center...original as found
150.00
plus the ride...
Chain guard in orig maroon/ ivory paint...not a bad puppy ...some minor
dents in the embossed area, small crank swipe on back of quality seal circle
not noticeable from viewing side...front clamp is a bit misshapen...needs some
TLC straightening, has an NOS bracket, haven't messed with it...
NOTE—- tank half not available
Check this load! 2 NOS 95' Schwinn orig repop 4 hole tops...not the cheap
new crap out, variety of cranks including
a 1935 dated LADIES and one other prewar ladies schwinn crank.. 1 rough rear brake
expander hub, frozen...free wheel hub shell no guts. Unusual...
Check the pix! assorted stuff...used discs... 2 NOS clutch springs and

speed driver, 1" pitch sprocket for 2 speed, NOS 2speed brake lever, NOS dust cover,
rechromed standard ND shell 36 hole (not DD stamped)...

front truss fork early postwar fender light fender and locking truss.

Restored Prewar/wartime Persons saddle for the WWII military Dayton & Westfield machines.
Chassis on this one is slightly narrower than the commonly found 1" 1/8 on these bikes measuring
just under 1" width. Seat was completely disassembled stripped and painted in the OD, Covered in Leather...
Here's an odd one... Long spring chassis, don't see this version
often without the front Nose Coil...mounts the way a Lobdell
Horizontal sprung seat mounts.. Very different.
Top looks to be restored, nice job, has patina, no idea
who did the work. 2 pan saddle sold as-is as found!
