Hello,
I’m looking for a set of fenders and chain guard for my 1947 Dayton Huffman. It’s a whizzer and I’d like to add correct fenders & guard.
Thank you,
Mike
I just bought a Whizzer project. I believe it to be a 1947 Huffman Hiawatha. But any input would be greatly appreciated. I think the serial number is:
7 H 080509
Engine H 82392
Above the serial number on bottom of crank, these numbers:
178 - 7 - 98
Pictures below, thank you in advance.
I have 1941/42 CWC western flyer. Musselman hubs. Looking for lock nuts for front hub. I think it is 5/16 axle. Having a hard time finding the thinner profile nuts. Any direction greatly appreciated.
I need a few parts for my 1961 Flightliner made by Murray. I need the bolt for the clamp that hold the seat & rack. I also need the front screw for chain guard. And while I'm at it the screws that hold the front fender to fork and the rear fender to frame. Not the rear brackets on rear...
Wow. Nice paint job. I am pretty sure that is the color combo on the girl's airflo that I will do on my bike. Luckily my Dad's bike had the chain guard ( I have heard referred to as pork chop chain guard). And the rack was I think a slightly older rack. Both saved me a little money that I...
Hello everyone,
Read a suggestion to assemble before painting, so here goes. I'll include a picture of my Dad with his bike in 1940. Still looking for the "egg" tail light.

Shelby airflo project, rebuilding a bike my father got in 1940. It has evolved, I first thought just the frame, fenders, chain guard and rack. Trying to keep the price down. I have since purchased the nicely repop handlebars ( had them chromed) and splurged on the lobdell seat. I had that...
He was an only child, so if went from cousin to cousin. When he got back from WW II it was long gone. I am working to recreate it. Have it all except egg tail light & tank.
Thank you. There is someone on eBay sell stencils for the arrow. I assume the diamond shapes are the same for both. I could use the front and rear fenders.
I think my dad's bike was frame navy
I'm building a 1940 Shelby airflo like the one in the picture ( that is my father on his 14 the birthday). I could use a stencil and color help. I notice on some Shelby's, the fenders are painted with one point and some with two.
Thanks,
Mike
I am working on a Roadmaster, Luxury liner and I need a set of chain tensioner bolts. They are a courser thread than the Shelby tensioners I have. Any one have any?
Mike
I’m restoring some Torrington 10 pedals and want to replace the nut and lock washer that attach the pedal blocks. What size thread & nut does it take?
Any help is welcome.
Mike
Wow. Thank you everybody. Elevator bolts look like a good idea. The seat does need to be recovered. I want to have it as correct as possible for my 1950 Roadmaster luxury liner.
Here is my question. I have a 50’s era troxel seat that has the holes on bottom panel for a crash bar attachment with no bolts.
Can I add that to this seat? Can I drill through the seat pan and add the bolts? Were they pressed in originally?
I don’t have a seat pan that has these bolts in...

Hello,
Picked up a 1950 Roadmaster. Looking for a rack, headlight, seat and pedals, perhaps handle bars and neck if nice. Also a chain guard.
Thanks for looking,
Mike
Great seeing all the comments. I have 3 projects I'm working on. The Spaceliner was a Birthday gift from my wife. She said at the time, every boy should get a bike for his birthday. I took some of the posts to heart and am patiently looking for a better plastic front of the tank ( that holds...
I'm looking for a prewar headset for a shelby. I posted a picture under the wanted forum of what I'm looking for. Let me know if you have a set.
