I picked up this frame this weekend and spent a few hours researching Racycles and found some good info but before I start going broke collecting part’s I thought I’d ask here:

Which crank would be correct?
Which style fork is correct?
I see...
I picked up an 1890s tandem and there’s were on it. Eclipse knock out front hub and Morrow C code (1933) rear hub. Larger gauge double butted spokes and the rims are a drop center style steel and a very distinct valve opening. Tires are petrified. Wheels set weights a ton. We’re these specific...
I know the original pogo posts had the issue of spinning and causing issues so it was discontinued. Does anyone know anything about this one that has a Keyway to stop the spin? Ive never seen one with a keyway, even the Matthews post don't seem to have it? I am looking for a good original post...

I am looking for information or better yet a bicycle from P.J. Maley & Co New Haven Connecticut. I found these badges a few years ago and the only information I can find is in Motorcycle advertisements and directories from 1908-1920's. It looks like they sold Emblem Bicycles too. Im assuming...
Ive seen these years ago but never took the time to look closer. Now I have one and I am wondering more about it. The cog slips off the "keyed" section of the driver to coast. Anyone have any more info on it? How does it work, am I missing any parts? It came on an 1899 Hartford. Thank you!

I bought a bike about 10 years ago that was an amateur restoration and I’m finally getting around to fixing it. The previous “restoration expert” decided to paint the beautiful leather saddle!!! I don’t want to hurt the leather underneath so I’m slowly chipping it away with the corner of a razor...
Went to pick up an all original 93 GT Mach One that was supposed to be rideable. After finding it was a 96...hours of cleaning, greasing, new freewheel and other parts it is now RIDEABLE!! Still needs a few parts. Started dusting off my old BMX gear and I think I might race it this weekend at...
There’s been a lot of requests for this lately. I can also make printouts to mail out.
I’ve used this a few times on fenders. You may need to trim more than shown on the template especially where the fender meets the seat stay. I trace this out on printer paper then cut it out and tape it to the...
My parents bought me this bike in 1987-89ish at a garage sale. It was in mint original condition and it was my first non-department store bike (besides antique bikes). I rode the sh*% out of it and eventually changed the grips, seat, tires, and lost the front brake. I just unboxed it and stRting...
24” DX Excelsior badged Balloon tire bike. All original except seat, bars, and grips (tires too??) would clean up nicely. I fixed a few fender dents years ago and made it rideable. Front tire has a split, I glued it and rode it 5 miles. I don’t want to sell it (bought it for my daughter) but my...
