This bike is advertised here in Victoria as a 50's era model. I don't know Schwinns but this looks much more recent to me. Can you determine the year from this photo...it's the only photo that's posted.... Thanks, Kryn

Put some modern cream rubber on the Massey because the 30 year old tires were 'tired' .... I like that they fill the fenders more and extend beyond the large lip of the rims....but hate the badging and reflective stripe....oh well. Looking for 'correcter' pedals and the bar should have a cross...
$5 - plus shipping to wherever from Victoria, B.C.
Has been painted silver over the chrome and then rusted some more. Have not stripped any paint - but it has peeled. Will have to visit the ladies at our post office to get a price for sending this.....likely $20? Just thought someone might...

I'm sure these saddle parts could be used in a restoration. When I found this on the bicycle it had a wooden seat pad instead of what I believe should be two plate steel pans that sandwich together.
I'm asking if any folks know what (year, model, men's woman's?) parts I've got and if I could...
So here's what I'd like to see happen to this 'copy' I just bought up here: replace the cheap looking fenders with better repros, replace the 50 tooth chainring with a 30 something to give an old man some hope of riding up hills, yes even with the geared hub. I'm also thinking of adding a front...
OK just started mocking up this frame that I scooped a little while ago...hard to find them here on Vancouver Island. My bad - I posted some images in the 'Custom Builds' forum and found some new friends. But maybe I should have posted here....? So just throwing out a couple pics here to share...
Wanted a frame to run these Sturmey Archer drum brakes on. Tires look so skinny sitting in that frame. Will be putting cream tires on soon. Looking for a pair of 80's shimano road weighted platform pedals.. called aramac? or something similar I think. 'Adamas' I just found some.....
Cranks are...
Just need 1 of the caps for my 50's wagon. The style has 'RADIO LINE' embossed around the cap. A screw hole on one side and a tab on the opposite side. If I can get one then I can cast 3 more or..... I could borrow one and cast up 4?
fingers crossed,
KZee
