Looking for some info on the pictured head badge. I know this company made fiberglass bodied turnpike cruisers like where used at LeSourdsville Amusement Park and maybe others. Wondering if anyone knows if this was maybe a motorized bicycle or scooter of some kind. Thanks in advance
In no particular order. Some garage sales, some trash picking and my F100 hit the street for the first time in a month after finishing up the lowering job. Maybe now I can get back to bicycle hunting.
Here’s a couple when I picked it up last summer. Went to Welcome, NC and brought it back to Ohio. One family owned since new and the fella I bought it from was a poker playing buddy of Richard Childress. Since we where only a quarter mile away from his race shop we had to stop and visit the...

Something new... something old. Picked up a Turner Toys fire truck, an unmarked Popeye bank that a friend found in a clean out of an old Dayton, Ohio foundry building and a J&S Products die cast car with working suspension that was made in Los Angeles. While I was cleaning these I dug out this...
Good week of foraging! Doepke Jag, Tonka Green Giant semi, nice embossed speed limit sign and an Evel lunch box. I’ve bought many prints over the years that I love. Framing is expensive so they usually live in their packing tubes. I love Keith Weesner’s work. A few of his prints framed...

Couple of trucks. A nice original Smith Miller, Pacific Intermountain Express and a really cool Wyandotte truck and shovel. I love the styling of the Wyandotte truck and the bull dog hood ornament on the PIE truck.

I’ve posted this in the past. My idea of preserving the crust. Respoked rims with used spokes, added pedals, recovered seat top (stradalite) using the unrestored undercarriage, new tires a few accessories, complete service and I can ride it anywhere. I love this thread. Thanks!
I usually like to take a current picture of my recent finds..... it’s snowing out and looks cold. So.... some pictures of when I went to look. Brought these home last week.
A 1917 Iver Johnson Truss Bridge that was just hanging around.
Also brought home a 1985 era Raymond Beadle Blue Max...
I do not have pedals for it. I was going to run a set of Torrington 8’s on it. Looking for input as to what it may have had.
I don’t know when the drop stand was put on. It looks correct to me or at least Iver Johnson.
I was wondering if coke bottle or ball end grips would be appropriate for this bike based on these pictures. I borrowed these pictures from 47jchiggins 1915 Iver Johnson catalog that is for sale here on the Cabe.....thanks Todd.
Also wondered if Torrington 8’s are close to correct. Thanks.
Bars...
Finally ran across a project that I could afford and like. I believe it’s a 1917, give or take a little based on the info I found here on the CABE....thanks to those that post.
Looks to have rims / hubs from the late 20’s or early 30’s. Plated, clad rims, Model C New Departure and a Germany...

I’m looking for a really crusty Davis Sewing bayonet crank. Rusty, pitted and no longer useable as a bike part is what I’m looking for. Would also be interested in pair of Davis pedals in the same condition. The worse the better. Thanks
Wanted one of these since the first time I saw one hanging above the McDonald's drive-thru. They have been building new McDonald's all around our area and I was able to find one...funny how simple stuff makes you happy
Didn't know I wanted one of these till it fell in my lap. A real barn find...
A crusty 50's era 2 sided flashing light star. It hung on the front of an old barber shop near downtown Dayton. I used to drive passed it on my way to and from work years ago. Also an old Rike's sign from the side of one of their old delivery trucks.
Tim, unfortunately I will be in Indiana tomorrow. Lee if you happen to see this the block chain is beyond saving. It has several links rusted through. Hope to see you guys at one of the winter shows.
