Just bought a Roadmaster cycle truck, need the basket and bracket of course, chain guard and the center stand. Need other parts too but I will just use what I have for now.

Is there any other way than spraying clear coat and is spraying clear coat on it a good idea?
I have done that before but on a rougher bike. This bike is in excellent condition other than the screening is wearing away a little.

So I found this bike in the trash
and took it home for my grandson, changed one tire
and he was riding it already
The crank is on the left and I looked at some other images
of similar bikes and the cranks are on the left on some
on the right of others.

Had this fastback for a couple years never touched it,...I took it out today lubed it..
the chain is jumping in almost all gears cept low. Could it be the derailur has too much caked on old dirt and grease?
Was rding my old Varsity, when it got dark on the way home I put the generator light on..and thought well the bike is almost 40 years old,,the generator must need some lube. How do you lube it?

put it back 100% original,
she has some wear on the paint and decals,
but she is a real sweety with an original NOS seat,
Not a Pete seat.
Built bike for rider, but have too many bikes.
Bike is in excellent condition, has 3 speed coaster brake hub.
All original cept of course seat,handlebars and shifter.

Will the cover for a 66/67 5 speed shifter fit that of a Manta Ray which was 71/72?
And will the 3 speed shifter cover fit a 5 speed shifter cover?
