Nice 1939 Roadmaster Supreme, needs only the stand. No trades, cash only. Ready to ride this summer. Springer forks. A few dents and scratches but I get looks wherever I ride it. It's just time for something different. No haggeling. Price is FIRM. It cost me MUCH more to get it as far as it is...
I was planning on making this into a cool cruiser but now it's up to someone else. Not sure of the year as I haven't really cleaned it up enough to find the serial number. All that's missing is the rear fender. $130 shipped from 49548 (Grand Rapids, MI) or you come get it for $70. Would also...
Anyone know if they put contrasting colored fenders on mid to late 50's WF? I found one that has a black frame and tank but red fenders and it really wouldn't surpirse me too much if the fenders have been replaced... the few pictures I found show same colored fenders and frame... just want to...

Were the steer tubes the same length for the mens and ladies bikes pre-war? I know some steer tubes are different lengths when you go from mens to ladies bikes but, I'm curious about the shockmaster specifically. npence has a ladies shockmaster and I was wondering if it's just a bolt on for my...
Looking to trade this setup for complete '39 shockmaster springer fork w/headlight, If I'm out of line on the trade value please let me know. After spending a few hours pouring through the numerous threads that even hinted about being Cleveland Welding bikes I THINK I have deduced that this is...
After spending a few hours pouring through the numerous threads that even hinted about being Cleveland Welding bikes I THINK I have deduced that this is a late '36/ early '37 CWC built frame for unknown company. I come to this conclusion from tubular/ cast forks, large paisleys in the chain...

all models of JC higgins available for the 1952 year. I've tried going through the galleries and Google and the search menu but most of them don't have a year attached so I was just trying to narrow it down some. Thanks.
I have a couple questions about a mid fifties hornet I have a chance to pick up. Is the chain guard correct for this thing? Most of the pictures I've looked at have the wing type guard on them even though this one has an old 'hornet' decal on it. The chain ring and wheels look off to me also...
Sold!!!!!
Haven't gotten to what year it is but here ya go. I know it's not really all that old but, I also know that it may just be something that someone's kid or wife would want to ride just because it's got newer technology and not ancient. 7 speed internal, coaster brake, Schwinn Typhoon...
All I know about this specific frame is what I could glean from my buddy who was sponsored by Hutch in the early-mid eighties. He used to race BMX and was sponsored by Hutch. It was a prototype frame put out in '83-'84, there were only 6 or 7 made that went to some up and coming racers across...
the different Schwinn wheels apart? I've seen all the "rolling on S2's" or the "currently equipped with S7 wheels" comments and since I'm a major new guy... how do you tell them apart? Anything specific to look for? Thanks
Unsure what year Spaceliner frame but I can guess it takes the lower mounted tank from the location of the mount. Compare the file photo (top) to actual frame (bottom) for verification. I'll have the seat post out shortly. $75 obo +shipping from 85304.

I have a thread on another site about re-working my '39/'40 Roadmaster and have gotten quite a few positive thread responses and PMs so I thought I'd share. I realize that some things are wrong and some are close to right but not really so Imma go with calling it 'resto mod' just like hot...
Did all of them NOT come with a tank? It seems to me, that would be part of the appeal of that particular name/ frame. Or was it an option? I came across a pretty inexpensive chrome boys frame but it doesn't have the tank so I was just curious.
Thanks

Got this seat and don't need it now. Comes with the post. Will accept cash or trade offers until Monday. I'm looking for a drop stand and clip, or a head light (battery or other).
Yep... it works.
Trying to get enough funds together to finish up my Roadmaster. As I have zero clue as to what it's worth make me an offer. I'm looking for a drop stand and clip. or a head light (battery or other).
Just pulled these off my '39/'40 Roadmaster. I'm not sure whether they were correct or not. 21 1/2" spread from grip to grip and about 4 1/2" drop from grip to stem. As I have zero clue what they're worth make me an offer via PM, they'd probably look good on a track racer. Will accept cash and...
I have a few items to trade but very little cash. Here is a picture of the bike I'm looking for a tank for. I don't really care what shape it's in as I can repair pretty much any issues. Please PM with pics of the tank and what you are looking for for a trade or trade value and I'll do the best...
