Here is a rough Red Phantom that I found this month. I believe its from June of 1952. It was used at the ship yards in Seattle, WA. and has lots of overspray on it. As found it has a locking springer with a broken key, missing the lense and seat post clamp, plus the rear rack is toast and was...
I found a ratty Red Phantom this week. It has a fair amount of paint and overspray on it. Allegedly it was used at the ship yards in Seattle. I think its probably dated 1952. It has a locking fork and drum brake.
What do you consider a good bike, and what kind of budget do you have? I have found a few lately myself. I picked up this ugly one recently for the tank.

I'm not affiliated with the show, I'm just trying to spread the word. It's a nice show with a good turn out. I would like to see more buyers show up with lots of money to spend.

There used to be somebody out of California that made them called Rollrite Goods. I believe they are defunct. I tried ordering something a few years ago from their Instagram page and never got a response.
Good luck!

The tanks look correct for all the bikes from what I see. Someone made some nice riders, but lots os incorrect parts and colors. If you like them and are happy with the deal enjoy them. If you want to make a little money and part them out you may get ahead. Have fun and enjoy the hobby.
I definitely agree with the others on keeping it a ski bike. It is much cooler as found than with wheels. Keep looking for another project, something else always comes up.
Nice complete bike Moe. I picked up a similar frame and fork myself this summer. I'm getting rid of the S7 wheel and replacing them with some newer ones that fit a 24 x 2.125 cruiser tires.
Thanks for the nice responses. So far it looks like the only major problems are the loss of Chrome on the wheels from age. What do you think a fair resale value might be on an OG paint bike in this condition? The only other old bikes I have had this old were incomplete repaints.
I had a couple of nice finds this weekend. First a very nice reproduction Schwinn saddle and this great Rollfast. The Rollfast looks pretty complete with a working horn, possibly a 1941.
