Hi Brant, I saw your Butler and wanted to let you know that I have Butler Adams probably 1897 or 8. Totally unique octagonal swaged handle bars, 4 sided chainstays, seatstays and fork blades. Have you ever seen those on a bike before? Can send photos. Rob Horwitz

The Charles River Museum in Waltham, Ma. Has many examples of Orient bicycles and motorcycles. I don’t know if he is still there, but Bob Howitt worked at the museum and is very knowledgeable about the history of Orients. They also have a great library of research on the Orient MFG. Co.

Robert's tires are excellent. I have been riding them for a couple of years and they are very durable. I recommend them. Be sue to secure them with glue before riding!

Pierce crank arms Hi, I also have a Pierce and have not figured out how to remove the non-sprocket crank arm. I see the screw and have removed it. I'm not sure that I follow what to do after that to remove the crank arm. Could you simplify the instructions for the feeble minded? Thanks. Rob
