Ah, my old Shelby. I'd recognize it anywhere. I had so much fun finding it hanging in a garage in Pennsylvania. It had been in the same spot for about 40 years. I don't remember if you're the one I sold it to, but it looks like it got cleaned and shined up real nice. Good luck with it.

Look up a Montgomery Wards Stratostreak. Almost the exact same bike, including the cool faux exhaust pipe under the seat. Stratostreaks could be ordered through the Wards catalogs.

It looks like it has what I call the "window" effect. The side of the bike that faced the sun for years is more faded.

I'm bringing these 3 guys. The Monark is a '54, the Western Flyer CWC is a '41, I think. $750 each. The Stingray 3 spd(with only 2 speeds working) is a '74 or 5. $250.

Most valuable to me is this Shelby Model 42 I got that was hanging in the previous owner's garage since 1981. It's all original and never taken apart except that I did put new rubber on it. Money-wise, not that valuable, but it is a wonderful riding bike.

I keep my bike hobby confined to one small room in the basement so it doesn't get out of control. If it gets too crowded, time to sell.

Got this Phantom from a local auction. It had been sitting for a long time, with some goofy parts. Got it cheap, made it more original, and now it's one of my favorite riders.
