Seems funny( and a bit counter productive to book out Friday, especially early in the day.
Not all of us have a schedule which allows us to take off mid week to travel.
With Monroe following on the heels of ML, and so close a drive.
A Thursday drive and Friday swap to get to ML.
Saturday...

0124
That is the card # missing from a friend's Campagnolo 50th Anniversary group.
His registration card is 0224, but all the serial numbers are 0124.
What are the chances of finding this?
Was this a simple exchange of 2 cards, or is it a bit more mixed up than that?

There was a swap in Chicago. From earlier photos, it seemed like more modern stuff and a lot of retailers and business'
There is another one April 13th - outdoors.
Agreed.
While there some things that can justify a visible price, I tend to know my products
and am up on value(try anyway).
The better your depth of (market value )knowledge on your offerings, the better your position to price on the fly.

My bicycle always have intrinsic value. Where I found them, the story of the find,
the great deal(or not) and a host of other non-monetary thing should be included
in the calculation of value.
One guy only sees a pile of manure, a farmer sees a pile of free fertilizer.

I haven't been to the new Monroe Swap location.
Is there a general focus(modern, old, etc), or a bit of everything?
Swappers or retailers?
Anything different for (this years ) swap?
Looks like changes down the line....................................
Long trip for me, so want to make...
I did (I know the organizer pretty well)
Nice event and next year should be bigger as well as better planned and marketed.
Could be at the Minnesota fairgrounds(but you didn't hear that from me!).

Nice event, and well attended.
Pretty small venue, and narrow aisle just made thingscozy.
Vendor slots were sold out and some were turned away.
Talked to organizer, and he is exploring a much larger space with ability to grow.
Will keep updating.

This guy owned it since new and raced it.
Includes the all important, rubber containment devices.
Ran into two bicycle personalities from the Twin Cities.
Chris Kvale, the frame builder and industry guy and Bob Williams, another personality in the world of bicycle people impacting...
I take the exact opposite approach.
Inquiring about a single, unmarked thing is a great way to open a conversation, establish
the level of sophistication between both parties and discuss the offering.
Getting to price on that item, whether it is your ultimate target of not.
- OR -
No prices...
There are a couple things missing.
Some minimalized spoke nippels and some milled-out (to half thickness) Campagnolo axles
Don't know if this stuff was ever used, but wow, what a great strength to weight ratio (or not!)
All great advice.
If I can add a few things:
1. Do your homework. Try to determine the current value of your bicycle/stuff -
Check EB, especially historical sales.
Explore the large bicycle auctions...
