You can order the ends off of eBay they come from England but the shipping to me in Canada was cheaper than I could have got if they shipped from the US .
you can also make them from old ten speed brake parts but they won't be as long .
Just look up sturmy archer brake parts .

I guess its yesterday now but put the finishing touches on this ladies 1937 CCM not an original colour but this is what she wanted .
Turned out pretty nice .
Had the original Vulcanised rubber seat for it but went with a more comfortable modern saddle .
This is a very tall bike for a tall girl...
Out on the green bomb hit the bike path .
Bike now has full security package chain and lock weigh about as much as the bike .
Also sporting New York style seat theft deterrent.
This stuff will only slow them down or maybe they'll walk away .
Spray glue available at fabric and upholstery shops would work good on that stuff and would still be easy to remove it .
I bought some fabric handle bar wrap from France that was sticky it was really tough almost couldn't cut it with a sharp knife .
These were used on CCM Westfield Columbia and Indians from the twenties .
They are original and complete and in very nice condition .
Nicest ones I've seen here in a while
Pictures do not do them justice like I said before they will clean up really nice

Electra makes a nice not to expensive tire in this size in cream or black for there Amsterdam model .
looks good on old bikes does not have reflective side walls or coloured writing .
Also is a nice rolling tire .
For sale 1930's Persons saddle in very nice condition
Oil cloth border is ruff but stitching is very intact
Also any rust you see on this is light will probably wipe off with a little WD-40
I have made very little effort to clean this pretty much just wiped the dust off.

Quick ride before dark to try out Electra Amsterdam bars .

I read somewhere that the aluminum and steel have a chemical reaction and that ammonia will break the the bond .
I have blocked all the holes and filled the steer tube with it and seemed to work but also used heat as well .

Nice to see one with a head badge always gets me that the pin stripes and paint are in such great shape .

Just thought I would ad this put the front fork clamp on today and chrome came off like a piece of ribbon .
Still functions but got ahold of practicalcycles told them my problem they said it could have been a bad fit or over tightening .
Then sent an immediate refund .
Will buy from them again...
Also would like to know what bikes this saddle came on .
Have not been able to find a picture of another tan coloured one like this on here or anywhere else .
Thought about this after my last post and confirmed it today after talking to my friend at my local bike shop .
If you are going to have a fork threaded at a bike shop they have to have the proper tool to make Italian threads .
Not all threads are the same American French Italian all...
Like sworly said too long is an easy fix get them to put some extra threads on at the bike shop and cut it to size .
I have had to do that several times when a girls bike fork was the only thing available as a replacement .
Archie think you are right about Rollfast don't think it was 28 '' wheels though very wide forks and chain stays .
But I could be wrong .
Headtube is 5 inches top of race to bottom of race so yes 4 1/4.
Seat and stem also suggest 1930's.
