Found this frame at a friends back yard
Has lots of mixed parts but the frame and fork are original, crazy heavy duty rack (almost motorcycle type)
Color is green with red darts, head badge screw holes are in front. The fork has a a rear dimple. I am thinking CWC ???
Any Help appreciated...

Working on an Elgin twin bar
How long is that chain supposed to be ? I have a 56 skip tooth chain and its too short. I could imagine once i put the mens sprocket, the length it will have to be!

What is better to use on that original pre war paint or any age bike ? I have run into one consistent issue, as it dries the wax leaves the white powder residue, and since the paint has aged-in fine cracks it I end up with what looks like white fine lines everywhere. Any suggestions welcomed.
I recently purchased a pre war Hawthorne, but it is full of grease, throughout. Chrome is there, but also has grime on it. Without loosing the patina and paint, how much cleaning should I do and what to use to clean it. Any suggestions??? Clean or don't clean for risk of loosing original color...
