I have found that most tricycles can be bought for $20-$50. The Murray tricycles are quite common.

I need some info on this bike. This is the model and serial number: Model # 0324 and Serial # 1752348 What is the value you guys would place on it? The seller is asking $300. I'm thinking $75 seems more reasonable. Thanks for any input.

That's the reason I felt the muscle bikes could be included. I saw 5 or 6 stingray and crate type bike cruising around during the weekend.

If you notice, the chainstay is made from the same part as the fork. I have a much smaller bike made the same way. Kinda cool idea.

I try to make sure they are as complete as possible. These were kind of a throw away item (still are) and were usually pretty used up. Parts are much harder to find. There are many different makers and surprisingly many unique characteristics. My main reason for any purchase..."it looks cool" :)

Sorry, I do not have the fender you are looking for. I haven't really dug into these much yet. I will keep a look out for you. Next time i go to Elmer's I will try to remember to ask. He has so much stuff. He probably has, just has to remember where.

Looks pretty neat. It would be mine if I lived closer. Rather unusual looking frame.

Try using PB Blaster on it. I found that it works better than WD40. I had a AMF Tricycle that was rusted in a solid pile of metal and got every part to come loose using PB Blaster. I think most auto parts stores carry it.

I'm not sure what kind it is. The headbadge is gone and at this point haven't for any other markings. It is one of my favorites. I think it is also supposed to have a light on the front fender.

Elmer had 3 very old trikes from around the turn of the century...too far gone for me to be able work with. Also 2 chaindrive trikes. One was a Rossi and the other was an Junior Toy. Lastly I didn't get a Velo King or a very old Junior Toy. I didn't get those as I couldn't afford them. He...

If you are referring to the one with the wood on the back...it is actually olive drab in color. Elmer said it is a Bell Telephone model. I can get the dimensions from Elmer and hopefully a photo or two to rebuild the box.

A big tricycle score!! Pic heavy I picked up this load Sunday. I got them from Elmer's Toy Museum in Fountain City,Wi. These are extras he has decided to sell. Called and asked if I was interested. Yes I was. He has many more, I ran out of $$$$.

I think you made me that offer once before:) I wish I had a balloon tire bike to trade or ride myself. Very cool trikes by the way.

I just picked up the seat on the Evans at an antique store last weekend. Same place as I got the Hawthorne Flyer.(There was a store next to the Auction site) Lucky me :)

I bought this Hawthorne Flyer at an auction this weekend and was looking for an age for it. I think it should have front fender and the seat needs repair.

Over on RatRodBikes.com they do a build off each summer (I think). I didn't have a vintage bike to build so I used what I had.

I wanted to show off the tricycle I built for the RRB Build-off. It was a lot off fun building this trike. One final pic:cool:

This bike is at a Salvage yard next to where I work. The yard will not sell anything from the yard. I asked. Looks like a pretty neat bike before the crane got ahold of it.

Finally found a chain-driven trike. It is a Murray. Also this neat little bike. I think it is a Garton.

These are two of my newest trike purchases.:cool: I think this one is 1940's vintage. This one is 1960's. The seat and rear tires are not original.
