FYI. Photos of my 1950 (?) NOS Travis Bike Motor mounted on an early-1940s Columbia Bicycle (w/ original paint). This is the 1.0 hp version of the motor. Bike is equipped with a 1948 Sturmey-Archer expander brake.

The black unit is the coil. The front and especially the rear brakes are hard to find. No numbers stamped on the crank case - I don't know. I have three 700 series motors on vintage bikes and the serial numbers are easy to see. 700s are expensive, unless you are lucky to find them cheap.

Recent acquisition. 1939 Columbia Whizzer rolling chassis with Martin Roadrunner girder fork (I think). Notice modified frame to accommodate motor. Any Martin frames out there?
Found a 1956 Whizzer Special in original colors. Reportedly in climate-controlled storage for 40 years. Stared right up after oil change. Rebuild commencing to to make it road-worthy.
