I need a drop stand for a 26” Shelby bicycle. The type with dog ears.
I have a 24” that I would trade or sell.
The one in the right in one of the pics below.
The pic with the bike shows the wrong drop stand. I guess it’s for a 24” bicycle.
Looking for a girls long spring seat. Need it to still be covered and intact but it can still be ratty. Not looking for a perfect one.
Pics is what I have. Cover basically gone.
Pretty decent badge. Has some red paint on it that should clean off easily.
The price is 25.00 plus shipping. I would prefer to ship it in one of the USPS 10.20 boxes with some bubble wrap.
Looking for a chain guard from. Snyder built Hawthorne. Late 40’s to mid 50’s???
If anyone has one that don’t want to sell, measurements would be greatly appreciated!
Not sure whose bike this is currently.
I recently bought this Snyder built Hawthorne. As you can see it’s pretty complete with 3 speed and drum brakes. The obvious missing piece is the chain guard.
Not sure if this would be the only model bicycle that this guard would have been used on or not.
Any input or help would be appreciated.
Believe this frame and fork to be toc. The fork seems a little tweaked and the bottom bar looks to have a slight bend in it unless it was made that way.
This is a bit of a tall frame measuring 22 1/2" from the top of the post to the top of the crank. The diameter of the top tube is 1 1/8"...
Well she waited patiently but is finally getting her turn on the stand.
Anyone have pics of the inside of this tank so I can kind of tell what I’m missing?
Still have a ways to go but a good start!
Admittedly it’s been awhile since I have shipped a bike. Shipped quite a few several years ago. Bike flights for quite awhile, was the cheapest and then it transitioned to me setting it up through FedEx and dropping it off at my local ship it store as being the cheapest.
I just went and...
Incorrect seat, aftermarket tires. I have since bought what others have told me is the “correct” chain ring and is included in the price of the bike. Missing reflector on rear fender.
Has the cool shock ease springer and the rare, gray original paint scheme.
Paint is not perfect but is original...

Does anyone know who repopped the batwing lights? Are they still being repopped? What is the typical price? I did see one complete on eBay along with a variety of miscellaneous repopped parts.

Wondering if there are any Evans Colson experts on here. The blue paint may be original?
The serial number is pretty long. Never realized the rack was so bizarre in the way it connects to the frame.
Any help on year or info on the blue paint? Model? Not having much luck looking this one up.
Picked up this girl yesterday mainly because she has a bunch of cool parts. But once I got her home and saw how straight and complete she is, I changed my mind. She’s now in line, behind several others but she’s in line.
Original ND jar with 10 transfer springs. Jar is approximately 2 1/2” in diameter and 4 1/2” tall.

Took a beat up old uncovered horizontal seat to my metal guy. He cleaned it up and straightened up and made me an accessory to assist in the recovering.
My Super Chief will soon have the correct seat!
Been dabbling with decals. Had a few sets made with a yellow or aged look and a few clear.
Trying to decide whether or not to replace some or all the lettering on my bicycle.
It’s only original once, I know.

I’ve had this frame and fork for several years now. I would appreciate any information that can be provided.
I believe at one time someone said they thought it might be Davis built.
It does have a repair on the frame. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to remove the fork .
